Bevor Ihr im Forum postet, schaut nach, ob eure Frage nich schon einmal beantwortet wurde. Es werden keine Fragen zu grundlegenden WordPress Funktionalitäten beantwortet. Dafür gibt es die allgemeinen WordPress Foren und den unschlagbaren WordPress Codex. Außerdem empfehle ich zuerst die Tutorials zu lesen, da dort die meisten Fragen beantwortet werden. Für absolute Anfänger, die bisher wenig mit WordPress gearbeitet haben, empfiehlt es sich, ein paar Euro in das e-Book “Sites that Soar” von Aisling d´Art zu investieren. Das Buch erklärt den Aufbau einer Website anhand von BranfordMagazine Schritt für Schritt. Es ist zwar nur in englisch verfügbar, aber doch sehr einfach und verständlich.

Please make sure your question hasn´t been postet before. I will not answer questions on basic WordPress functionalities because there are general WordPress forums and the amazing WordPress Codex which do this job better. Check out the tutorials. Most of the questions will be answered here. For unexperienced WordPress useres I reccomend to purchase the e-book “Sites that Soar” by Aisling d´Art. This book shows a step-by-step how-to build up a website using WordPress and BranfordMagazinne.

You can set the height of the containers to a value that meets your requirements or you might define overflow:hidden for the fragments. Haven´t tried but may work.

That's great - it adjusts the tab container beautifully. Thanks!

The only issue is that the “#fragment” addition does not limit the length of the material it ID's. For instance, the third tab is “About” which is referenced in the ui.tabs.php as <div id=”fragment-6″>. But there is more material for this section than fits in a (height:360px) tab container (set in the ui.tabs.css) even though I've set

#fragment-6 {
height:300px!important;
}

Is there a way to prevent the overflow from showing up (ie spilling out of the container)?

I'm using the latest version of WP and the Branford Theme (which is great and quite well documented which I appreciate!), and I've figured out how to adjust the width of the tabbed area on the front page by adjusting the ui.tabs.css file.

I was wondering how you would limit the length of the tabbed area so that when switching between tabs there would be no length inconsistency (and no 'resetting' of the bottom of the page). I understand that doing this would effectively make each tab that had more information than could fit in the area an 'excerpt', but that would be fine… Thanks much…
