Maybe you shoul try with the newer version of jquery and the other javascript stuff. On the demosite I use the following files
http://www.wp-themes.der-prinz.com/magazine/wp-content/themes/branfordmagazine/js/jquery-1.2.3.pack.js
http://www.wp-themes.der-prinz.com/magazine/wp-content/themes/branfordmagazine/js/ui.tabs.pack.js
http://www.wp-themes.der-prinz.com/magazine/wp-content/themes/branfordmagazine/js/ui.tabs.js
Download them and integrate them. Then change the javascript call in the header as follows:

var $j = jQuery.noConflict();
$j(document).ready(function(){
$j('#container-4 > ul').tabs({ fx: { opacity: 'toggle', duration: 300 }});
});
</script>
I hope this fixes it.

Had no problems!

I removed all the files except wp-content and the wp-config.php from my webspace and put the new files of the 2.6 version back online –> no change…
Then I deleted the the themefolder and put it online again (downloaded it from your site again to be sure, there are no files changed). Nothing led to a solution.

Thorsten, that´s quite weired, because it works on my demosite without issues. Did you modify anything like the javascript or anything else?

Now, I've a problem, too… The switching on the lead article / recent posts / about this theme does not work since the update to 2.6. I reinstalled wordpress but it still does not work.

I just upgraded my demopage for BranfordMagazine without any issue. The theme works perfectly with WP 2.6. Did you follow the upgrade instructions correctly? Maybe you haven´t deleteted all the old files?

I made an upgrade from version 2.5 to 2.6 without any problems and I am using the Branford, too.

Hi,
How are you? I am using your beautiful theme v2.5.1 at my site http://www.pimpsymbian.com.
Can you tell me that is it compatible with new wordpress 2.6. I installed that latest wordpress 2.6 but there were many errors. I can see only lead story and there was no sidebar, nor featured bar and nor left bar. Even there was no foot.php.
Then i rolled back to wordpress 2.5.1.
Now its working ok.
Please tell me when will you update it. Thanks
Or tell me can this version of theme can be made compatible to wordpress 2.6??
