Of course it´s not a bug…it´s a feature

My themes version: BranfordMagazine 2.51

My WP Version: 2.3.3

If found what I think is a bug:

I have WP instaled in a subfolder named wp - like: http://www.mysite.com/wp

So in installation I followed the instructions from WP: In Options -> General I filled

WordPress address (URL) : http://www.mysite.com/wp

Blog address (URL): http://www.mysite.com

That's the correct thing to do.

The thing is, in the “Featured Articles” the image did't show up, because the theme was looking for it on http://www.mysite.com/wp-content/myimage.jpg instead of http://www.mysite.com/wp/wp-content/myimage.jpg

I spent a lot of ime on this until I found that in the file (from the theme) index.php the line that fetches the images goes like this:

<a href=”<?php the_permalink() ?>” rel=”bookmark” title=”Permanent Link to <?php the_title(); ?>”><img src=”<?php bloginfo('url'); echo '/'; echo get_option('upload_path'); echo '/';

It means it is geting the path of the 'Blog Address' instead of the 'WordPress address'. I changed the code to this:

And now it works pretty well.

So here's the tip for everyone else with the same problem, and for the programmers.
