well now if i had just taken the time as i just did to read through all the topics and posts, the answer to my question was right there. all i did was add this code height:300px!important; to my styles/ui.tabs.css file on this line

/* Skin */
#container-4 { /* the whole container with all elements of the tabbed section */
margin: 20px 0 20px 0!important;
height:300px!important;
}

To do this if you are having the same issue i had, just ftp into your wp folders where you installed wordpress theme for Branfordmagazine and open the styles folder up and edit the ui.tabs.css file and save it. Problem solved.

I just have a simple question that is driving me nuts. When i look at either your demo or any other persons sites that are  using your theme everything works like its supposed to. Now my question to you is this. when i click on your demo for the lead article, recent posts, about this theme, there is a nice transition that very smoothly goes to the next window without anything on the rest of the page moving.

Now if you go look at the installation i just did straight from the download to the upload without changing anthing in the files, if you click on any of them link, lead article, resent posts, or about this theme, watch what is happening, everything  below that window is jumping up into that lead artical spot until the lead article loads.  How in the world do i fix this.   this wordpress was installed via fanatastico in my cpanel
