Bevor Ihr im Forum postet, schaut nach, ob eure Frage nich schon einmal beantwortet wurde. Es werden keine Fragen zu grundlegenden WordPress Funktionalitäten beantwortet. Dafür gibt es die allgemeinen WordPress Foren und den unschlagbaren WordPress Codex. Außerdem empfehle ich zuerst die Tutorials zu lesen, da dort die meisten Fragen beantwortet werden. Für absolute Anfänger, die bisher wenig mit WordPress gearbeitet haben, empfiehlt es sich, ein paar Euro in das e-Book “Sites that Soar” von Aisling d´Art zu investieren. Das Buch erklärt den Aufbau einer Website anhand von BranfordMagazine Schritt für Schritt. Es ist zwar nur in englisch verfügbar, aber doch sehr einfach und verständlich.

Please make sure your question hasn´t been postet before. I will not answer questions on basic WordPress functionalities because there are general WordPress forums and the amazing WordPress Codex which do this job better. Check out the tutorials. Most of the questions will be answered here. For unexperienced WordPress useres I reccomend to purchase the e-book “Sites that Soar” by Aisling d´Art. This book shows a step-by-step how-to build up a website using WordPress and BranfordMagazinne.

Sorry for double posting… Just want to say that my site is optimized for Firefox. If your using IE, the Amazon widget might not look at it’s best… But it will still be cool and you’ll still get the idea.

The Books Page would be easy. They just get an Amazon.com affiliate account and made an aStore, a generic online site which Amazon gives to it’s affiliates. After an affiliate finishes the set up of his virtual bookstore, Amazon will give him/her the option of creating a widget (with html codes) based on the contents of his/her aStore. Any affiliate can then place that html code to any blog or website that he manages or own.

I have tried using propertyflippingtips.com style this morning (Philippine time) by just copy/pasting the code to the content of a new page I created with the title Online Store. However, I get the impression that it’s too crowded to look at so I deleted it and try something else. You’ll be surprise if you’ll see where I placed an Amazon Affiliate Widget using the Branford Magazine theme. To raise some excitement, I won’t be telling where I placed it. Just remember that it’s an Amazon widget, so it’ll probably be book related.

Maybe I should do a report on how to optimize the Branford Magazine Theme for Amazon ads or something. Might offer it for free on my blog to raise some hits (lol)

How did this guy mod BranfordMagazine with all the video, books, cd course, dvd course, chat and forum pages.

It does look mighty interective and look interesting. Does anyone knows exectly how this can be done.
