I will not answer questions on basic WordPress functionalities because there are general WordPress forums and the amazing WordPress Codex which do this job better. Check out the tutorials. Most of the questions will be answered here. For unexperienced WordPress useres I reccomend to purchase the e-book “Sites that Soar” by Aisling d´Art. This book shows a step-by-step how-to build up a website using WordPress and BranfordMagazine.

This e-book is highly recommended for new WordPress users who want to use BranfordMagazine or WyntonMagazine.

This forum will be closed down (read only mode) for x-mas and new years holidays. I will answer open topics within the next few days. In January the forum will be fully available again.

Ich selbst habe tatsächlich keine 2.1 Version mehr (ich hebe “alten Balast” nicht gerne auf). schick mir mal Deine header.php per Mail an support@der-prinz.com. Dann schaue ich mal, ob ich das Lightbox Problem für Dich lösen kann.

Okay - ich habe das Backup nun doch eingespielt ;-)


Alles läuft wieder.


Was mich dazu bewegt hat den 2.5 Header zu verwenden ? Ich wollte das Lightbox Problem in den Griff bekommen^^


Leider funktioniert der bereits in älternen Threads beschreibend Workaround nicht ( vor die $ (Dollar) Zeichen ein “j” setzen), da die Tabs auf der Startseite dann nicht mehr laufen.


Michael, könntest Du bitte noch mal den Code einstellen für die Header.php von der 2.1 Version ? Vielleicht habe ich dann ja mehr Glück :-)


Ein Update auf Wordpress 2.5 und Branford 2.51 kommt erstmal nicht in Frage, da der Arbeitsaufwand geschätze 50 Stunden in Anspruch nimmt bei den Veränderungen die ich im Theme bereits vorgenommen habe.

Hallo Michael,


ich habe leider mein Theme völlig zerschossen nachdem ich die Header.php von der Version 2.5 testweise eingespielt habe. Ich habe natürlich ein Backup der “alten” header.php gemacht - leider lässt sich der Fehler dadurch jedoch nicht rückgänging machen.


Hast Du einen Tip für mich ? ( Ich habe noch ein komplettes Backup ist allerdings schon 2 Wochen alt)
