Most of the questions will be answered here. For unexperienced WordPress useres I reccomend to purchase the e-book “Sites that Soar” by Aisling d´Art. This book shows a step-by-step how-to build up a website using WordPress and BranfordMagazine.

This e-book is highly recommended for new WordPress users who want to use BranfordMagazine or WyntonMagazine.

This forum will be closed down (read only mode) for x-mas and new years holidays. I will answer open topics within the next few days. In January the forum will be fully available again.

Schau Dir mal an, wie ich es im Sidebar mache.

query_posts('showposts=5&offset=1&cat=1');
?>

Durch den “Offset” Parameter, wird quasi festgelegt, dass die Auflisung nicht mit dem ersten, sondern mit dem zweiten Post beginnt.

Hallo,


ich habe jetzt schon lange rumprobiert und komme auf keinen grünen Zweig. Das Hauptproblem lliegt darin, dass die von die vorgeschlagene Variante immer auch den ersten Artikel mit ausspuckt. D.h., dass der erste Artikel zwei mal erscheint. Leider. Falls dafür eine Lösung gefunden wird, freue ich mich riesig.

Ist sicher machbar. Dazu brauchst Du im Grunde nur zwei Loops, die Beiträge aus der gleichen Kategorie anzeigen. Einmal nur den ersten mit Excerpt und einmal die nächsten drei nur mit Titel.


Im grunde passiert das bei BranfordMagazine ja sogar in einem Bereich. Es wird ein Artiklel aus der News Kategorie als Leadartikel mit Bild und Excerpt angezeigt. Die nächsten drei werden nur als Headline im Sidebar => http://www.wp-themes.der-prinz.com/magazine/ . Das ist genau das Prinzip, das Du jetzt nur für Dich anpassen musst.


Das ist aber keine Frage des Themes, sondern eine generelle Frage zum Umgang mit Template Tags bzw. dem Loop. Ich würde mal im WordPress Deutschland Forum schauen, falls Du es gar nicht hinbekommst.

Hallo,


vielen Dank vorab für das tolle Theme! Ich habe folgende Frage, die sicherlich für viele hier interessant ist:


Ist es möglich in der “rightcol” den ersten Beitrag einer Kategorie mit “excerpt” anzeigen zu lassen und die restlichen drei, vier oder fünf Beiträge nur mit “title”? Ich denke, dass das die Übersichtlichkeit erhöht, da mehr Beiträge auf der Startseite angezeigt werden.
