P.S. Komisch was so ein bisschen nachlesen ausmacht… das flutscht einwandfei.
@Ich: zunächst einmal entschuldige ich mich natürlich in aller Form dafür, dass ich mich erdreiste ein paar Tage Urlaub zu machen und deshalb das Forum vorübergehend zu schliessen. Und das obwohl die Themes und der Support in meiner Freizeit entstehen und von mir völlig kostenlos angeboten werden…da kann man natürlich noch sehr viel mehr Einsatz von mir erwarten…is klar…wie bist Du denn drauf
Installiert man das Deutsche Sprachpaket RICHTIG, gemäß meinen Anweisungen (und den sonstigen tausendfach im Netz verfügbaren Anweisungen) funktioniert es sehr wohl. Keine Ahnung, was Du genau falsch machst. Nächste Woche ist das Forum wieder geöffnet und dann helfe ich DORT gerne…und nur dort!
Lösung jetzt:
Installiert man das Deutsche Sprachpaket ändert sich mal überhaupt gar nichts. Komisch, das wurde eigentlich als ‘DER’ Vorteil dieses Themas angepriesen.
Man muss alles danach händisch in einigen css und php files umstellen um auf Deutsch: Leave a comment, Comments, Lead article, continue reading, usw, usf. zu haben.
Finde das ganze sehr seltsam.
Und guter Hinweis auf das Support forum:

So wird man kaum auf die Lösung kommen…
Das tolle an diesen Support Foren ist -jetzt habe ich mich bis hierher durchgelesen, hoffe endlich eine Antwort auf die Frage mit dem Language pack zu bekommen…und dann steht hier: Dafür gibt es das Support Forum… grummel
Lieber Michael: Es scheinen sehr viele Leute probleme beim installieren des Language packes zu haben (inklusive mir), und es funktioniert einfach nicht wenn man nur die Datei de_DE.mo hinein kopiert.
Sollte ich eine Lösung finden, bin ich so frei sie hier zu posten.

Using another language

To use e.g. the German translation just put de_DE.mo into your themes directory and upload it - that´s it. - und was bitte ist dann anders?
(’WPLANG’, ‘he_IL’); habich auf de_DE gesetzt, was auch im head vorhanden ist. aber irgendwas deutsches hab ich immernoch nicht gefunden…. Was fehlt in der Readme datei?

I have a question. As I need russian localisation i’ve tried to download the lang.pack. What I got was Wkq+kMDy.part file. I think, something went wrong, cause this is just some kind of a text file.. What should i do to getdesired rus-version?

because my problem is solved now i’ll write what i did to fix it:
1. [Nilton, this is not your problem but i thought maybe someone will find it usefull:]the right name for the Hebrew files is he_IL. the language is defined in the wp-config.php file that located in the root directory of your WP installation. the line to watch is:
define (’WPLANG’, ‘he_IL’);
2. the files he_IL.po and he_IL.mo [in your case Pt_Br.po and mo] should be placed inside wp-content\themes\branfordmagazine folder
that’s it, good luck
The same with me, i translated to portuguese (Pt_Br), uploaded the file to /themes but nothing happens. What we did wrong?
@Dvaash: Could you send me the files via email? Is “HE” the correct shortcut for hebrew? (I really don´t know)
hi, i really like your theme.
i’ve tried to translate it [to Hebrew] and nothing happens when i copy the HE_he.po and He_he.mo either to “wp-content\themes\branfordmagazine”
folder or “wp-content\themes\” folder.
do i miss something? i feel like there’s one step to go…
