Jeff - No joy with your solution! It would anyway only bring the same picture over and over again - no need for a custom field in this case!

Aanii All,

I am using WP 2.6.3

Matt I tried your work around and it is not working for me. Can you tell me if there is anything I should be doing that you did not list? I'm a newbie at fixing themes : - )

I really love this theme and want to use it on my new blog however, of course I have to solve the image issue.

I'm not getting images at all. I did check and the image is in the correct file you mention to use instead of leadimage.jpg and it still is not showing up.

Any help at all would be marvelous!

Blessings,
Bluedolphin Crow

Find this line in ui.tabs.php:

<?php bloginfo(’url’); echo ‘/’; echo get_option(’upload_path’); echo ‘/’;

Comment all of this out so it looks like so:

<?php /* bloginfo(’url’); echo ‘/’; echo get_option(’upload_path’); echo ‘/’; */

Then use this template instead for leadimage.jpg:

wp-content/uploads/2008/09/leadimage.jpg

That’ll solve your problem.

Cheers Matt,

This sorted it out for me

I also was having image insertion problems. Tried all the suggested code changes without success. Noticed when in the media gallery that the old images I had uploaded no longer showed a thumbnail picture at the left side. Decided to re-upload images. Thumbnail picture now again visible when in the media gallery. You don't need to change code, just make sure the pictures show a thumbnail after you upload and then follow the tutorial. All will be well. Great theme.

This theme is good, I have successfully installed before getting all the leadimage and feature image displayed nicely. But does it comply with WP 2.6.3 (the latest upgrade) I have been trying to display those images for hours with no success. Anyone tried it with the latest Wp?
