@Michael Oese: Sorry, I really wasn't testing it on your themes, but I have noticed appearence-similarity between themes and I didn't know if you were solving uploading.
If you were looking inside the plugins code, there is just about few mods needed (my plugin doesn't use custom fields at all, it is just uploading images so just you need to setup upload and display folders :)
It doesn't even have form sanitization, it is 0.1, but I will make a mod for and clean the plugin for use with your themes (in default settings without mods) 'cause I like those :)
Thanks 4 feedback.

@Mjkhl: Nice idea although I´m not sure if it really works for Branford and Wynton since they use a slightly different way of working with the custom field images. Have you tried it?

Maybe it would be worth adding a little manual howto adopt the plugin for my themes or to create a version for them ;-)

Hello, I have just created ugly, but working WordPress-admin plugin called "Mimbo post images" (useable for Wynton and Bradford too) to add free premium feature - uploading "Post Images", which are used via "Custom Fields" in your theme on “index.php” page and possibility to browse those to get actual list of those images and easing getting image names for Custom Fields.
I didn’t like to be forced to manually upload files using FTP, so I have decided to create my own little plugin, which allows me to upload and view those images directly from Admin > Manage > Mimbo post images Tab.

Plugin download is available <a href="http://wordpress.podsmrkem.com/mimbo_post_images-0.1.zip">here</a>.

Feel free to check it out.

<strong>Admin panel</a>

<strong>Post Images Browser</a>

Btw thanks for nice rework of Mimbo, buddy :)

Ps: This plugin is ready for Custom Field Feature, only one "Image" field, but separate image folders.

- Install the plugin, set it up (see README.txt)
- Activate plugin
- You need to create three different image folders in "mimbo2.2/images/" folder ("lead/", "feature/" and "/icons") and chmod it to 777, set up plugin's "upload1.php" (full path to lead image folder...), "upload2.php" (feature...) and "upload3.php" (icons...).

Then you need just to set up the template - set up folders for images in index.php (for lead template change "/images/" to "/images/lead/" on line 10, then for feature template change "/images/" to "/images/feature/" on line 38 and for "rightcol" icons change "/images/" to "/images/icons/" on line 69.

Now you can go to - Manage > Mimbo post images - upload all three files using plugin's form with the same filename for all those files (example: "/images/lead/image.jpg", "/images/feature/image.jpg", "/images/icons/image.php").

Set up Image Custom Field in post and put there only "image.jpg", as it appears in post-images-browser in Manage > Mimbo post images.

Now you can switch the post between lead, feature and "rightcol" categories as you like, images are appearing as they should. Little bit enhancement.

I have done this in a hour today, I have used wordpress plugin generator (www.wp-fun.co.uk) for setting up the framework and then I have used some "safe mode = on" upload and directory listing scripts. It works for me very well :)

I have updated plugin package and added screenshots, so take a look (194 kB - mostly images, plugin scripts have 7,9 kB total)

Of course, it is little bit ugly and unfriendly, you must set up so much things :) but it is version 0.1, so keep calm :)

I love this theme. I'm having a hard time with some parts - when I try to give my links a category most of them default to my default "blogroll".

Also, often the entire theme reverts to Default. I think its because this theme is in a subdirectory whereas most other ones are directly under my main site so I think the default loses its path to the Wynton magazine sub directory.

Does anyone have advice on how to put this theme in the first directory below my site or know which file I would edit in wordpress so it would find the sub-sub directory easier?

Thanks!
